About JMT&B

Jack Mason’s Tavern was established in 2009 by Martha Atherholt and Wendy Hudler. They successfully built the Tavern into a spectacular gathering place in Clifton Forge. In 2017, Jack Mason’s Brewery was completed and brewing commenced. The brewery has since been instrumental in creating award winning beers, a seltzer, and non-alcoholic craft sodas to keep our guests excited and ready for new brews!

In July of 2022, Michael and Ann Foster made their voyage from Colorado to Clifton Forge to become the new owners of JMT&B. Ann grew up in nearby Lynchburg, Virginia and Michael hails from the tiny town of Lewistown, Montana. Martha and Ann’s families are lifelong friends, so this change of hands has been great! 

Michael and Ann are so grateful to work in an environment where people support each other and show professionalism at every turn. The Tavern Team is excellent in every way! The Tavern Guests are friendly, fun, supportive, and always game for an adventure.
